TEAMSTERS CARE PROGRAM OF TEAMSTERS LOCAL 294 2006 "TRICIA ANN HUNTER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND" Dear Brothers and Sisters: This annual $300.00 scholarship is available to all active members, in good standing for the last 12 months, who have children/dependents that are presently high school seniors. This year we will award four (4) scholarships to two females and two males. The following criteria must be supplied by each applicant to facilitate the award review: 1. A current copy of the applicant’s high school transcript with GPA. 2. Results of either the ACT or SAT, preferably both. 3. A letter of recommendation from the applicant’s guidance counselor that details the applicant’s academic achievements, extra-curricular activities, involvement with community affairs, outside and summer employment and any exceptional handicaps that the applicant may possess. Additional information may be provided by a parent/guardian in the form of a letter. The deadline for all applications is May 19, 2006. Call the Local Union Office at 489-5436 for an application.
