Ed here is a picture of me and another pilot I flew with the other day. His name is CW3 Rene Doublier. In civilian life he is a pilot for NetJets out of Columbus Ohio and a member of Teamsters Local 1108.  We flew a flag together on a " all Teamster" mission so we could present it with a certificate to Jimmy Hoffa and the officers of the IBT  in Washington upon our return. That's the beauty of the National Guard. We are all just a bunch of regular guys from all walks of life doing a little something extra.

Take Care

January 19, 2005

Hey everybody, these are some pictures I took at Saddam's palace in Tikrit the other day.
The 1st Infantry Division and now the 42nd Infantry Division's headquarters is there.
I ran into a friend of mine from Fort Benning IOBC who is with the 1st ID.
I hadn't seen him in almost 4 years. Who would have thought I would be walking
through an ex-dictator's house in Iraq and just happen to run into an old friend.....
That's nuts! Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy the pics. Paul
